In Sura 2 verse 102 we learn about certain knowledge that was passed down since the time of Babel by two angels Haroot and Maroot.
[2:102] They pursued what the devils taught concerning Solomon’s kingdom. Solomon, however, was not a disbeliever, but the devils were disbelievers. They taught the people sorcery, and that which was sent down through the two angels of Babel, Haroot and Maroot. These two did not divulge such knowledge without pointing out: “This is a test. You shall not abuse such knowledge.” But the people used it in such evil schemes as the breaking up of marriages. They can never harm anyone against the will of GOD. They thus learn what hurts them, not what benefits them, and they know full well that whoever practices witchcraft will have no share in the Hereafter. Miserable indeed is what they sell their souls for, if they only knew.
وَاتَّبَعُوا مَا تَتْلُو الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَٰكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَمَا هُمْ بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا لَمَنِ اشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
It is interesting the association with the word Babel and its historical connotations. The name Babel comes from the Biblical story of the Tower of Babel from Genesis 11:1–9.
Genesis 11 – The Tower of Babel
Now the whole earth had one language and few words. 2 And as men migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. 3 And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” 5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. 9 Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused[a] the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
My takeaway from this story is that when people have one unified language they can cooperate and have unity, but when our common language gets destroyed then it causes disunity and distrust which can lead to the entire downfall of a once prosperous society. But this is more than just a different language like English, Spanish, Arabic, or Mandarin. While speaking different languages can obviously cause some miscommunication, the real breakdown occurs when the meaning of words are severely altered from their original meanings. When this happens then it doesn’t matter even if you are speaking the same language this will cause division and disputes among the people because they share no common ground.
The names Haroot and Maroot even have some symbolism to this understanding. The root for the name Haroot has the following derivative meanings:
ه ر ت : to slit a thing to widen it, to have a wide mouth, to draw the side of the mouth to the ear, have wide sides of the mouth, tear up, wide, ample; to wound a reputation; to cook meat thoroughly; flesh falling off the bone; a serpent or camel or horse or dog with a wide mouth.
This expression to have a wide mouth I equate to the idiom of speaking out of both sides of one’s mouth. Such that if you talk or speak out of both sides of your mouth, you say different and contradictory things to different people, so that people are left unsure or confused.
And the root of the name Maroot has the following derivative meanings:
م ر ت : Render a thing smooth, remove a thing from its place, to break a thing, to be without water and herbage (land or tract of land); or a land of which the soil does not become dry, and of which the pasture-grounds or fields do not produce herbage; a waterless desert without herbage; a man that is hairless; a calamity or misfortune.
My understanding is that the term Maroot and its meaning of “rendering a thing smooth” signifies removing the distinction between things. Consider that in a region the way we typically determine our orientation in our physical environment is by looking for landmarks to determine where one is and where they need to go. But if all landmarks are removed and the land is made completely smooth then there is no way to tell where we are let alone what direction we need to go in order to reach our destination.
Now keep that in mind in the term of language. If we gradually fuse different words together to remove their distinctions then one can slowly inch someone’s understanding of a meaning of a word to something that it is not. For example, let’s look at what is happening currently with Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine wants the US to enter the war with them against Russia except they know that if they ask for this upfront America will refuse. So instead, Ukraine first asks for money. This seems like a reasonable ask so the US provides Ukraine with money. Then they say well look the money is only going to buy military equipment, so can you send us the military equipment directly. Then they say well look you are already sending us money and military equipment, can you at least can you at least train us to how we can use this equipment.
But the verse 2:102 doesn’t talk about war or power, but something that almost on surface-level seems so much more benign. It discusses the use of such knowledge for the sake of breaking up marriages, or in other translations as dividing a man from his spouse. Usually, when people read this they equate it to divorce, but I think there is something much deeper. I don’t think this is just the act of divorce, as if the angels taught the people how to use witchcraft for the sake of seduction of a married woman. I think the Arabic is clear that this is indicating the overall distinction between a man and a woman. I wouldn’t have believed this in the past, but as we are seeing this trend in society today the significance of this verse and this particular phrase is more glaring than ever.
LGBTQ – Rights
For the last several years we have seen major attacks on the institution of marriage. In November 2008, California passed Proposition 8 which banned same-sex marriage. Unfortunately, this was proposition was overturned shortly after.
In 2015, the Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, 576 U.S. 644 (2015) ruled that the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples by both the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The 5–4 ruling required all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and the Insular Areas to perform and recognize the marriages of same-sex couples on the same terms and conditions as the marriages of opposite-sex couples, with all the accompanying rights and responsibilities.
Lean In & Toxic Masculinity
In 2013, The COO of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg wrote the book “Lean In”, where she was encouraging women to lean into their careers. This has been an ongoing trend for decades to get more women in the workforce and in more executive positions within companies. At the same time that this trend was progressing for women, there was another movement brewing against what was deemed toxic masculinity. Men and more specifically young men were being told that their natural predispositions were toxic.
The remedy to all this was that women were being encouraged to be more like men, and men were being encouraged to be more like women. The irony was that this goes against the very nature of who a person is as a man or woman.
This really started in the 1960s with the sexual revolution which pushed women to sleep around and have multiple sex partners. That if they got pregnant, no worries, just have an abortion. Ironically, women who happened to pursue this path are some of the most miserable people in society. It is found that 56.3% of young white non-religious women in America are diagnosed with a mental illness and are consistently found to be some of the most disatisfied in life.
I have a female friend who went to one of these women empowerment meetups right around the time of the whole Lean In movement and she told me that one of the people being interviewed for this talk was a high-power executive from one of the top tech companies. The person was probably in her early 40s, and spent her life focused on her work and moving up the corporate ladder. My friend told me that the interview took a strange turn, because the individual started crying saying that she pursued her career because this is what she was told by society she should care about, but she felt like she wasted her life doing so at the expense to focusing on having a family and kids.
God informs us that He has designed the men to be the bread earner. This does not mean that a woman cannot be a bread earner, but that for most women this is not going to be a role that they will enjoy taking on. Research shows that in the most egalitarian societies there is a predisposition for both men and women towards certain occupations, roles, and interests. To try to push people into molds that goes against their very nature is a recipe for disappointment.
The other consequence of more and more women taking on the role of being the head of the household is that this is leading to more anxiety in society. Women are more concerned on average about security and feeling safe. This is due to the fact that women in society are more vulnerable than men. When this becomes prevalent in society and men step down from their role of being the head of a household you have women growing in anxiety over possible threats. A perfect depiction of this can be seen with the alarmism around global warming, the hysteria around the election of Donald Trump as president, and the entire COVID mass psychosis that has been pushing society into perpetual lockdowns and security theatre such as almost religious devotion to mask-wearing.
On the other side, we have boys being told that their predisposition to roughhousing, competing, and fighting is toxic. They are told to be more like the girls. Society rewards men who are more feminine. This is seen in the structure of schooling, where being agreeable, less active, and more structured is rewarded and promoted.
This is causing a growing gender gap in higher education – both in enrollment and graduation rates. Young women are more likely to be enrolled in college today than young men, and among those ages 25 and older, women are more likely than men to have a four-year college degree. This gap in college completion is widest among younger adults ages 25 to 34.
The downside with this trend is that while men have less of a bias against marrying a woman who makes less than them, most women will not consider marrying a partner who earns less than they do. This is because most women look for a partner who is financially more secure than they are.
[4:32] You shall not covet the qualities bestowed upon each other by GOD; the men enjoy certain qualities, and the women enjoy certain qualities. You may implore GOD to shower you with His grace. GOD is fully aware of all things.
وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا مَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبُوا وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبْنَ وَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
[4:34] The men are made responsible for the women, and GOD has endowed them with certain qualities, and made them the bread earners. The righteous women will cheerfully accept this arrangement, since it is GOD’s commandment, and honor their husbands during their absence…
لرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللَّهُ
Gender and Sex
What started as a mere merging of men and women roles in society has morphed into the entire false narrative that there is no such thing as a biological man or woman, but that gender is a social construct. Roughly 1 in 5000 people are born with ambiguous sex organs. This is about the same probability of flipping a nickel and having it land on its edge. So while still unlikely, it is a reality that is unfortunate for those impacted by this and no different than any other form of birth defect a person can be born with.
But if the argument was limited to these specific individuals I don’t think there would be much argument that society needs to be more tolerant, but the woke elite are expanding this definition not to just the 1/5000 who are born with ambiguous sexual organs, but to any individual who identifies as such.
First, they argued that gender and biological sex is different. Such that gender is the software and sex is the hardware. The claim was that someone might be male, but have the gender of a female and vice-versa. Despite the terms of masculine and feminine already existing they wanted to take over the definition of gender as well. Then when they got concessions on that argument from the elites in society they expanded to say that there is no such thing as biological sex.
Politicians and woke evangelists are on a mission to replace the term “women” with terms like “birthing people“, “people with a uterus”, and even “bleeders”.
Weightlifter Laurel Hubbard, a 43-year-old biological male, competed for New Zealand in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Hubbard competed in men’s weightlifting competitions before changing genders in 2013. Hubbard competed in the super-heavyweight 87+kg category, becoming the first male to compete in a female event for the Olympics. Ironically, having male genitalia was not a reason to bar someone from competing in the women’s Olympics, but Sha’Carri Richardson, a female track sensation and a gold-medal favorite in the women’s 100 meters, was suspended for testing positive for marijuana and was unable to compete in Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
More recently, Lia Thomas, a biological male swimmer from the University of Pennsylvania, competed for the first three years at Penn under the men’s division. Then Thomas decided that he is a female and started competing in the women’s division where Thomas in November 2021 set school records in the 200-meter freestyle and 500-meter freestyle. This record-breaking stretch continued, as Thomas set a school record in the 1650-meter freestyle. Thomas’s teammate Anna Kalandadze finished in second place — over 38 seconds behind Thomas.
Teens
This confusion of biological sex and the promotion of sexual deviancy has no limits. Children across the globe are being psychologically coerced into thinking that their biological sex and their sexuality are ambiguous.
More youth and adults now identify as LGBTQ than ever before. In the last decade, diagnosis of “gender dysphoria” — severe discomfort in one’s biological sex — has exploded across the West. Between 2016 and 2017, the number of gender surgeries for natal females in the US quadrupled; in the UK, the rates of gender dysphoria for teenage girls are up 4,400 percent over the previous decade. Historically, this ailment typically began in early childhood, and overwhelmingly afflicted males, but in the last few years suddenly has a new dominant demographic: teenage girls.
I have heard from several middle school and high school age kids about the psychological arguments that are being posed upon them that are causing them a lot of confusion. The basic argument goes like this:
Premise #1: gender is defined by the person and not our biology
Premise #2: If you are attracted to someone who is biologically your opposite, but identifies as the same gender as you then you are homosexual or you will need to adjust your gender in order to not be.
So let’s put this in application. Let’s say you are a biological male and you are attracted to Megan Fox. Tomorrow Megan Fox decides that she will identify as a man. If you are still attracted to Megan Fox then you are now attracted to a man, thus making you homosexual.
When I first heard this argument I thought it was so absurd that it couldn’t possibly be true. Then I heard of several parents who had children that were struggling with this and causing them to question their gender and sexuality. One parent said their son had a girlfriend. One day the son’s girlfriend decided that she identified as a boy, so this made the son think that he must be gay causing him to come out to his family about his new identify.
Children
The worst expression of this is the grooming and sexualization of children. This is because the belief that if gender is a social construct then so is age.
What started in San Francisco, CA and has been adopted by libraries all across America is the concept of drag queen storytimes. This is where grown men dress up not as just women, but as prostitutes and read books to children. It isn’t bad enough that these sexual deviants are doing this, but that it is being promoted by our public libraries and there are throngs of parents who are bringing their kids to these readings.
Then they started making tv shows dedicated to drag queen kids and told that they are brave and strong and an inspiration to other kids.
Now they are pushing to teach and promote kink to children. They promote the sexualization of children through movies like Cuties for adults.
Last year Abigail Shrier showed leaked documents and audio from the California Teachers Association Conference revealing efforts from teachers regarding how to subvert children’s parents on their grooming of children to push them to transgenderism and altering of their sexual identity. These efforts consisted of ways they can make sure these messages are being promoted to the children without the parent’s consent, and how to target kids based on their search history or character traits.
Some parents are now suing their school districts for these grooming practices. Jessica Konen is taking legal action against her school district in California, after two teachers allegedly manipulated her 11-year-old daughter into believing she was a transgender boy.
In Loudon County, a male student who identified as female was allowed to use the female restroom where he raped a female student, but the school tried to keep this hidden from the parents and used legal recourse to keep them silent. After months of seeing that nothing was being addressed towards the grievances of the family, the parents found out that rather than prosecuting the perpetrator instead they decided to just reassign him to a different school where apparently he did a similar act to another female student. When the parents found out about all this they tried to address the school board were promptly arrested and deemed a terrorist for their natural outrage at the situation.
Los Alamitos Unified School District forced little girls at a school-organized science camp to share a bunk with grown men. The parents didn’t find out about this arrangement until after, as the male camp counselor self-identified as a woman and therefore was made responsible for the girl’s camp.
Even in a red state like Idaho, a report earlier this month found that “School administrators in Coeur d’Alene manipulated an 11-year-old girl into believing she was a boy and should undergo gender transition surgery” behind her parents’ backs. “The elementary school counselor had coached the young girl into believing she was transsexual and instructed her how to tell her parents about her new identity,” the Idaho Freedom Foundation reported.
In Virginia, a public school made kindergarteners sit and listen to a “transgender rights advocate” — a man dressed as a woman who goes by “Sarah” — read them a book about a transgender teen.
In Iowa, a school district used the “Black Lives Matter at School Guiding Principles” to teach kids as young as four years old to “free[] ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking,” “dismantle cis-gender privilege,” and “disrupt[] the Western prescribed nuclear family structure requirement.”
A school in a small Colorado town outside of Boulder showed elementary students a play about a transgender raven, accompanied by videos like “He, She, and They – What is Gender” and “No More Gender Roles.” The videos include conversations with a gender-confused teddy bear that conclude gender roles are “mean, They are not fun and they are big problems.” One parent of a first-grader reported that, after showing one of the videos, his daughter’s teacher paired kids up to talk about their preferred pronouns.
Law and Society
On Jan. 1, 2021, a new law went into effect in California allowing men identifying as women to be housed in women’s prisons. Since then, women inmates have been reporting being physically and sexually abused, including rapes leading to unwanted pregnancies. This has caused some women prisons to supply condoms to the inmates.
A Los Angeles County judge on Jan. 27 ordered Hannah Tubbs, a male-to-female transgender Californian, to serve two years in a juvenile detention facility after Tubbs pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in 2014 — but it’s possible Tubbs could only face six months.
Tubbs, 26, recently pleaded guilty to molesting the girl in a women’s bathroom eight years ago when Tubbs was two weeks away from turning 18. At the time of the crime, Tubbs identified as male and went by James. Tubbs did not identify as female until being taken into custody, according to prosecutors.
“Hannah Tubbs is currently housed in county jail. It is my understanding that she will soon be transferred to Sylmar Juvenile Hall,” Deputy District Attorney Jon Hatami, assigned to the Complex Child Abuse Unit, told Fox News Digital.
End of Objectivy
What is the reason for pushing all this? If you can breakdown the foundation of a nuclear family, to abolish the concept of marriage between a man and a women, then you can break down every other facet of morality in society. This can all be achieved not through war or bloodshed, but simply through the manipulation of language and distorting right from wrong. Because if something as obvious as the distinction between man and women can be corroded away then what other ideals we hold true will be next. This is the end goal for destroying this distinction to chip away at the very foundation of objective reality and objective morality.
