Where Did the Ark Land
[11:44] It was proclaimed: “O earth, swallow your water,” and “O sky, cease.” The water then subsided; the judgment was fulfilled. The ark finally rested on the hills of Judea.* It was then proclaimed: “The transgressors have perished.”
[11:45] Noah implored his Lord: “My Lord, my son is a member of my family, and Your promise is the truth. You are the wisest of the wise.”
Was Noah’s son already dead when he implored God?
In 11:44 it says that the transgressors have perished meaning that his son was already dead. Therefore Noah was asking to intercede on behalf of his son after his death. Noah already knew that the disbelievers were annihilated he even implored God not to allow a single disbeliever yet he still implored God to intercede on his behalf.
[71:26] Noah also said, “My Lord, do not leave a single disbeliever on earth. [71:27] “For if you let them, they will only mislead your servants and give birth to nothing but wicked disbelievers. [71:28] “My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and anyone who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. But do not give the disbelievers anything but annihilation.”
Both verses 44 and 44 start with “it was proclaimed” one to Noah and one to the Earth, but who proclaimed it?
All commandments come from God, but how it was carried out is undetermined as to who actually proclaimed it. Example of Angles as drivers of the winds.
[21:68] They said, “Burn him and support your gods, if this is what you decide to do.” [21:69] We said, “O fire, be cool and safe for Abraham.”*
[3:95] Say, “GOD has proclaimed the truth: You shall follow Abraham’s religion – monotheism. He never was an idolater.”
[5:119] GOD will proclaim, “This is a day when the truthful will be saved by their truthfulness.” They have deserved gardens with flowing streams. They abide therein forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. This is the greatest triumph.
