Some individuals claim that because Jesus did not have a father that this makes him divine. The Quran counters this point with the following verse:
[3:59] The example of Jesus, as far as GOD is concerned, is the same as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was.
For God to make anything happen He simply says to it “Be” and it is. Therefore creating Jesus, who did not have a father, was no more difficult than creating Adam, who did not have a mother or father. But there is also a numerical connection between Jesus and Adam in the Quran.
Both the names Jesus and Adam are mentioned twenty-five times in the Quran.
We see that verse 3:59 is the 7th occurrence of each of their names in the Quran.
We see that the 19th occurrence of Jesus occurs in 19:34, while the 19th occurrence of Adam occurs in 19:58, which are 25 verses apart.
