According to Sahih Hadith, if someone eats seven ‘ajwa dates every morning, they will not be affected by poison or magic.

Narrated Sa`d: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “He who eats seven ‘ajwa dates every morning, will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them.”

Traditionalists consider all Sahih Hadith from the prophet as a form of divine revelation (wahi). Therefore they consider anything that meets this standard as true as 2 + 2 =4. If this is the case, then Sunni Muslims should demonstrate this by eating seven ‘Ajwa dates in the morning and then consuming a non-lethal poison that is available over the counter, like Ipecac, which induces vomiting, and prove that this Hadith aligns with reality.

Secondly, if the above Hadith is true, why haven’t Sunni scientists conducted medical studies proving the validity of this Hadith? They should conduct a randomized controlled double-blind study where some participants get seven ‘ajwa dates to eat in the morning, and others do not, then have each group consume either a placebo or some Ipecac and see if the individuals who ate the actual ‘ajwa dates were able to ward off any effects from the poison.

Any honest Sunni should question the authenticity of Hadith based on the facts above, but the next Hadith should make them realize that the Hadith are not only false, but they are an insult to the religion and the prophet. In the following Sahih Hadith, we see a statement that they claim was made by the prophet before he passed, in which he claims that the food he ate at Khaibar poisoned him.

Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) in his ailment in which he died, used to say, “O Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison.”

Since Sunnis consider the seven ‘ajwa dates to protect anyone from poison, yet the prophet was impacted by poison, one should ask why did the prophet not just eat seven ajwa dates and heal himself from such ailments?

In another Sahih narration, the prophet supposedly claimed that black cummin also heals a person from every ailment except death. Then why did he not top off the seven ‘ajwa dates with black cummin and heal himself of his own ailment?

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying, “There is healing in black cumin for all diseases except death.”

Not only did the prophet not heal himself by these means from his own supposed sunnah, but the statement attributed to the prophet when he was suffering from the poison he consumed in Khaibar was that it claims he said that the poison was severing his aorta. The insult in such a statement is that according to the Quran, this would have been the punishment if he had fabricated divine revelation.

[69:44] Had he uttered any other teachings.

[69:45] We would have seized him by the right hand.

[69:46] Then we would have severed from him the aorta.

Then
2laqaṭaʿnāلَقَطَعْنَاsurely we would have cut off
3min’huمِنْهُfrom him
4l-watīnaٱلْوَتِينَthe aorta.

So according to the authentic Hadith attributed to the prophet propagated by Sunnis, the prophet died in the manner by which God in the Quran stated he would if he was a liar fabricator!

These facts show that even the most trusted Hadith are filled with fabrications that cannot be backed up by reality and a direct insult to the prophet of God. Sunnis who ascrbie to Hadith are now in a bind, either they have to reject their beloved Hadith or deny reality and continue promoting the worst insults to the prophet.
