God’s Mercy

[4:27] GOD wishes to redeem you, while those who pursue their lusts wish that you deviate a great deviation.
[4:28] GOD wishes to lighten your burden, for the human being is created weak.

One of the most prominent experiments in quantum physics is the double slit experiment. The double slit experiment consists of shooting streams of photons or electrons through two slits. The expected if you were to carry out this experiment would be to have the projections of two slits on the screen. In actually what you get is a wave of probabilities as if the particle was behaving like a wave and converged on all possible outcomes as oppose to a single outcome like you would expect if it was behaving like a particle.

When experimenters set up a sensor before the slit to observe the particle the photon started to behave back like a particle as if the observer affected it. Scientist speculated that this may be due to the light of the sensor observing the photon and changing its state to a particle from a wave. But when they set the sensor after the slit, but before the screen the photon still behaved like a particle. As if it knew that it would be observed and therefore went back in time before it went through the slit and began acting like a particle again. The mere act of observing caused it to affect its own creation.

This is an example of how our actions can affect our past and how our ego can affect our creation. Each person in their life has to face numerous decisions. Prior to making that decision their is a probability of outcomes based on that event, but when the individual makes the decision the other probabilities are eliminated and reality converges to one finite outcome. This shows how according to God everything is already written down and according to us we have free will as the decision is ours, but God happens to know what we will decide. This life is to show us why we made the decisions we did so there will be no doubt on the Day of Resurrection.

This is why God asked Moses to speak to Pharaoh nicely because perhaps he may reform. God knew that Pharaoh wasn’t going to reform, but at that point in time he had the opportunity to do so and he chose not to.

[2:30] Recall that your Lord said to the angels, “I am placing a representative (a temporary god) on Earth.” They said, “Will You place therein one who will spread evil therein and shed blood, while we sing Your praises, glorify You, and uphold Your absolute authority?” He said, “I know what you do not know.
