In a recent interview on the Sképsislamica podcast, promoting his new book “Understanding Salafism,” Yasir Qadhi admitted that while the Quran can be academically verified, the Hadith cannot. He stated:
“Nobody in the academy affirms the Muslim Sunni science of Hadith. Nobody. It is considered to be completely discredited. I’m just being factual.”
This fact became a shock to the muslim masses, much like his interview five years ago, where he stated during an interview with Muhammad Hijab that the Muslim narrative regarding the preservation of the Quran has holes in it.
